Toronto Zoo is a wonderful place to capture wild animals and a favourite subject of mine. Here a female Lynx relaxes in the shade of her habitat.
This photo still makes me smile. I had been waiting for her to come out of the shadows and she had been looking over at me sitting there quietly at the edge of her habitat. When all of a sudden she walked over and sat down right in front of me and looked me right…
Wild life children are just as much fun as human children when photographing, again you never know what will happen. Here this young male lion cub at the MGM Grand Las Vegas hotel waits to play ball with his caretaker.
Photographing my beautiful Siamese cat Kathryn was always a tricky job. She would only put up with my camera for so long and she had a rare colour of purple-blue eyes that seem to reflect the light a lot more than any other animal I had ever photographed. This made her eyes often turn red…
Anyone who knows me knows that I am an avid Sci Fi fan and particularly a Trekkie 😀 I enjoy attending conventions across North America and often take pictures of the stars that attend. This is one of my favourite picture that I have taken of one of the stars of Star Trek Next Generation,…
Gracie the Golden Retriever looks up at me with those eyes and you just melt. She has the biggest and most expressive brown eyes that tell you exactly what she’s feeling and I wanted to focus completely on them in this photograph.
I caught this wonderful Giraffe strolling by some trees at the Toronto Zoo. The contrast of the various browns of this majestic creature against the rich green leaves of the trees created a wonderful image.
This was a happy mistake, sometimes they can turn out to be the best photographs. While taking pictures of fireworks some raindrops landed on my lens. It created a wonderful effect on the fireworks and made them almost celestial.
Not one of the most beautiful birds I ever seen but as I watched them I noticed their almost elegant nature. Here I capture him in a pose that shows that elegance as he wraps his neck around to fluff his feathers.
