This is a Facebook banner for a public figure page that I designed for author & radio talk show host Alice Badler.
The concept of the design was to create a journal look as Alice was working on a book at the time and the layout of the book was in a journal format. Alice supplied the photos of herself for me to use. I took the photo of the journal on my livingroom hardwood floor and then super imposed an excerpt from her book onto the image to give it that hand written look. I then took all the images and merged them together in Photoshop to create the final look.
When Ms Badler started her Radio Talk Show, she asked me to revise the Facebook public page banner to flow with the rest of the Ask Alice Show campaign (seen here on this link) but to keep the same look as before.
Below are the first drafts I sent her, we ended up using a cross between the first & second layouts.
