The Thames River in my hometown of London, Ontario often has these national birds nesting on its banks. Here I was lucky to capture a mating pair on a Sunday stroll down the river. Of course I was also hiding in the bushes to get it.

This young Cheetah cub sat by the edge of their habitat along with its litter mates and mother. The way it sat there so strong and regal, dark marking on its face almost like primitive warrior face paint, I almost thought it would jump up and take off after some unsuspecting prey any minute
