50th Wedding Anniversary

My Parents were celebrating their 50th Anniversary and I wanted to create them a special cake. We were also going out for dinner so I couldn’t really carry a huge wedding cake into the restaurant. So instead I decided I would create this mini wedding cake, just big enough for the three of us to each have a piece of cake and for me to carry into the restaurant.

The cake was cut using cookie cutters from a 9×13 cake. I purchased the mini red roses to finish of the topper that includes a printout of my parents wedding photo. With tweezers I removed al the white sprinkles from a mixed bottle and placed them around the top of each layer. I also separated some red and green sprinkles and placed the red ones around the top and the green ones to create the green leaves of the roses.
